Job Description

HR Business Partner (Manager) job for a leading Retail company to drive all their HR projects and initiatives

Your new company
This is a multinational cosmetic retailer based in Hong Kong and has a very strong presence around the Asia Pacific Region. As the company is expanding in Hong Kong, they are looking for a hands on HR Business Partner (Manager level) to build their HR function and to keep up with their growth to support their business objectives.

Your new role
You will be reporting into the Managing Director of the business. In this role, you will be working closely with key business leaders to build and grow the team in the business and to establish an innovative human resources strategy and policy framework. As the HR lead, you will develop and deploy best practice processes for HR functions including workforce planning and recruitment, payroll, people development, internal communications and culture, compensation and benefits at both retail and corporate level. You will be responsible for all people and HR based activities in Hong Kong from both an operational and strategic perspective.

What you'll need to succeed
To be qualified for this position, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource or related disciplines
  • At least 8 - 10 years of experience in the HR Management
  • Previous experience in cosmetic or retail industry is preferred
  • Strong knowledge in Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and other statutory regulations
  • Commercially minded individual with high energy level
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks within a tight deadline
  • Excellent communication in both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Good Proficiency in using MS Office including Word, Excel and Power Point
