HR Business Partner job (6m contract) for a world class asset management firm to run all their HR initiatives

Your new company
We are partnering with a world class asset management firm and they are looking for a HR Business Partner (6 months contract) to join them.

Your new role
This positions reports into the Head of HR Business Partner. Your responsibilities will be around aligning business objectives with employees and management and serve as a consultant to the business on HR related matters to deliver value added service to management and employees. This will include conducting meetings with respective business units, analyse trends and metrics with the HR group, maintain and enhance knowledge on legal requirements, provide performance management guidance to line management and provide HR policy guidance and interpretation. In this role, you will also need to identify training needs for the business, assist on employee engagement and work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships to increase productivity and retention.

What you'll need to succeed
To be qualified for this position, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • Have at least 7 years' experience in the HR function (preferably as a HR Business Partner)
  • Experience will include recruitment and selection, performance management, end to end function of learning and development, HR project management and must be well versed in the local Hong Kong Employment Regulations
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Good command in written and spoken English
