Job Description

Head of HR job for a large conglomerate to lead the HR team and to drive all HR strategic initiatives

Your new company
We are partnering with a very reputable Hong Kong based conglomerate and they are going through a rapid expansion in their business. They are currently looking for a Head of HR to lead the function in one of their subsidiary company and to drive all their Human Resources initiatives.

Your new role
This position reports into the Managing Director. You will be a HR partner and advisor to key stakeholders on management and employees across the region as well as manage a team under your leadership. Your responsibilities will include providing day to day HR operations to the business (across the region), drive performance and talent management initiatives, work closely with group to design and implement HR initiatives, oversee payroll, work on HR projects (including on boarding, training and development, centralised job descriptions), end to end recruitment and selection including internal staff movements locally and overseas, and build relationships with stakeholders in other functions of the business.

What you'll need to succeed
To be qualified for this position, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
  • Sound knowledge on latest HR best practices and as well as laws the regulations
  • Experience in payroll and compensation & benefits with the ability to demonstrate effective execution given short lead times
  • Provide leadership in coordinating activities and projects independently is mandatory
  • Proven ability to lead a team across different locations
  • High level of energy and have strong business and commercial awareness
  • Excellent team leadership and able to manage senior stakeholders
  • Strong communication with stakeholders at all levels, both written and verbal Chinese and English
  • Experience in the motor industry is a bonus
  • Client focused, good analytical skills and strong attention to detail
