Retail Distribution - Cross Border Banking Services

Hang Seng's Retail Distribution focuses on personal wealth management and financial services. Our one-stop wealth management initiatives are designed for both our affluent and mass integrated account customers. With more than 250 branches and automated banking centres, including over 50 Prestige Banking Centres for our high-end personal customers, we serve over half of the adult population, offering an extensive range of products.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our Wealth Sales Distribution Department as Cross Border Banking Services Manager.

Principal responsibilities:
  • Responsible for formulating business development strategy to explore business opportunities and grow revenue in Mainland China
  • Lead the team to achieve assigned KPIs through formulating and implementing business development initiatives
  • Review/monitor the service standards of all staff in the Cross Border Sales Team to ensure provision of premium customer service to maximize customer satisfaction
  • Keep acute sense of the market movement and develop strategies timely to meet the rapidly changing market situation and to retain market shares
  • Ensure all control measures relevant to the job responsibilities are undertaken to minimize the risk exposure of the Bank
  • Travel occasionally subject to business needs in order to build rapport and strengthen customer relationship
Requirements:
  • University degree in a related discipline
  • At least 10 years of sales experience with 5 years in managing the portfolio of high-net-worth customers
  • Well versed in market dynamics in Mainland China and have experience in dealing with Mainland clients
  • Good leadership and coaching abilities
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
  • Fluency in Putonghua and written Chinese. Proficiency in Cantonese an advantage
  • Passes in the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examinations/Hong Kong Securities Institute Licensing Examinations and attainment of CFP/CFA/CFMP
  • High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
