The FSO TAS APAC origination team drives additional business opportunities for EY and its clients by for instance: (i) connecting EY’s clients and EY’s network on TAS related opportunities such as acquisition opportunities, (ii) identifying FSO TAS related themes in APAC where EY can help its clients and develop ‘go-to-market business propositions’ such as bancassurance and micro-finance (iii) organizing client events such as the corporate development leaders network.

Current members of the FSO TAS origination team have a combined experience in investment banking, corporate development at financial services institutions, strategic advisory consultancy and (equity) research. The team consists of the Head of Business Development, APAC FSO TAS and a senior manager in Hong Kong, supported by a number of off-shore analysts in India.
In this role, you will be working in a highly independent and professional environment under the guidance of industry experts with a good connect in the industry. The role will provide you the opportunity to master your skills and understanding of the FIG sector and develop relationships in the industry. It will also allow you to ‘take on more’ as you grow. You will work across sub-sectors, functions, services and geographies, giving you a varied exposure and connect you with a multitude of colleagues and industry experts. Career opportunities are further enhanced as the FSO TAS EY practice in APAC plans to double in size the coming five years.

  • Build internal network and meet industry experts. Actively contribute to regular APAC wide origination meetings plus business development activities for Financial Services and take lead in following-up on chosen opportunities.
  • Take responsibility in providing coaching and training to junior research analysts in India.
