Senior Manager, Compensation & Benefits Manager

Working Location:   Kowloon Bay

Reporting to Vice President Human Resources, you will lead the Compensation & Benefits team to design
and implement compensation and benefits programs and policies that are competitive with the market, and ensure the programs in Hong Kong and Macau are managed effectively and meet the company’s business strategies, procedures and policies as well as legal requirements and regulations. 


  • Design, develop and implement local compensation strategies that could meet current and future business needs
  • Provide the business (HR business partners & line managers) direction & insights on the market trend on compensation & benefits development, and ensure the company total remuneration package (fixed & variable pay, benefits components, etc) is competitive in the market
  • Lead the C&B team in driving C&B projects & programs to ensure quality and according the project timeline
  • Provide consultative advice on local laws (Employment Ordinance,  tax laws, MPF, Workmen
    Compensation, etc) and proactively recommend plans to address issue
  • Propose new projects and present sound business justifications on C&B changes for management approval
  • Manage payroll & benefits administration, including expatriate administration, for Hong Kong and Macau to ensure compliance with Employment Ordinance and internal guidelines;  monitor and resolve any anomalies
  • Drive productivity improvements of team to ensure a high quality standard of HR services are provided to employees and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure HR policies are up to date and workflows/processes in place are compliant  


  • Degree holder, with  minimum 15 years relevant C&B experience with 3 years at management role preferably in multinational company
  • Sound knowledge in salary and benefits administration, C&B practices and HRIS application
  • Well-versed in Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and other relevant legislation and regulations including retirement schemes ruling and taxation
  • Excellent project management skill, strong in numerical and business analysis
  • Ability and willingness to challenge status quo
  • Excellent presentation skills and communication skills, spoken and written (English and Chinese)
  • Good interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with employees of all levelsSoftware skills (Word, advanced Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
