We are currently looking for a proficient Japanese speaking candidate, a native Japanese is preferable, who will be assisting in planning and implementation of market and customer penetration strategies in order to capture new business opportunities in Hong Kong and the Mainland China for Japanese clients.
Handling tax compliance work, supervise junior staff in delivery of tax compliance services;
Assist managers in delivery of advisory and consulting services, including in respect of the inbound and outbound investment, cross-border transactions, and group restructuring projects; and
Maintain good day-to-day relationships with Japanese clients.
Degree holders in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related disciplines, preferably with a recognized professional qualification;
Minimum 3 years’ of corporate tax experience, exposure in Mainland China tax is an advantage;
Strong in interpreting and analyzing financial statements and a general aptitude for quantitative analysis;
Self-motivated, mature, a strong sense of responsibility with positive working attitude and able to work independently with minimum supervision;
Good team player with good interpersonal skills and excellent organizational skills; self-initiated and result-oriented; and
Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese or Putonghua); proficient in Japanese would be preferable.
