Senior Human Resources Manager, Learning & Development

The incumbent will be in charge of the Learning & Development (L&D) function of the assigned business unit (BU) in HK & Macau, including the formulation and execution of the learning & development strategies with deliverables to support the achievement of the business objectives and the overall L&D strategies of the Company.

 The Job:

  • Work closely with BU business heads and the BU HR to identify learning needs on the assigned BU, formulate annual plans and program curriculum, ensure effective implementation and evaluate effectiveness
  • Bring in market best practices and new L&D trends, measure and benchmark on the return of investment on L&D initiatives
  • Promote and sustain customer service culture through development and implementation of customer service initiatives
  • Drive customer service through the design, review and implementation of mystery shopper program and measures
  • Supervise and coach team members while providing opportunities for enhancing their professional skills and knowledge for coping with business needs and their career development
  • Prepare and monitor the related budget, prepare L&D reports and support other L&D or HR projects as assigned

 The Person:

  • University graduate with further education / professional qualification in learning & development or HR development is preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of solid learning and development experience in sizable companies including minimum 5 years of supervisory experience
  • Experience in the retail industry and the development of L&D initiatives highly preferred
  • Previous experience in providing consulting service and driving change projects is a definite advantage
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, plus strong leadership for building a high performing L&D team
  • Flexible, customer-focused and result oriented
  • Strong planning, organizing & execution skills
  • Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
