Human Resources Manager

Reporting to the Head of HR, the incumbent will act as one of the Team Leads partnering HR Director on the implementation of people champion strategy of staff engagement and development, sustaining and enabling business growth.

The Job

  • Acts as a business partner to understand business direction and strategy, translate it into HR deliverables 

  • Provides sound HR advice on the structure, restructure, business process/re-engineering and other change initiatives

  • Takes ownership, and accountabilities, driving and championing HR performances for the business with the support of other partnering HR teams and functions

  • Identifies employee engagement and retention issues in partnership of key managers

  • Ensures effective communications, both vertical and horizontal, formal and informal channels/mechanisms

  • Provides professional advice on proper handling of staff cases and counseling

  • Keeps track of employee "temperature" or morale and assist in fostering employee engagement

  • Owns and completes regular management reports, company activities, and other ad hoc projects

  • Participates and contributes to the Company's package and benefits review, taking timely reference from market norms

The Person

  • University degree in HR Management, Business Administration or a related discipline

  • Minimum of 8 years' HR experience within fast-paced environment ideally from FMCG or retail industry

  • HR generalist knowledge plus employee relations skills and knowledge, in-depth knowledge of HK labour law is required

  • Excellent stakeholder management abilities with good relationship building skills, abilities to present with articulation and attention to details

  • Self-motivated, creative in problem-solving and willingness to go beyond the call of duty to get the job done and able to think on their feet

  • Strong in prioritization, time management, planning & organizing

  • Ability to work under pressure, with good communication, interpersonal and project management skills

  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with good computer skills (MS Office)
