Test Analyst (Test Management), Core Banking Project

Reporting to the Test Lead of Core Banking Project, you will be responsible for the following areas:

  • Improve testing facilities and related processes in the Bank for effective and efficient testing and high quality system and technology delivery leveraging on the Core Banking Project opportunity.
  • Understand the limitations and issues of existing testing facilities and processes and support the investigation of improvement initiatives on testing environments, supporting tools, methodologies and processes.
  • Provide support for the approval of the improvement initiatives, the implementation of approved initiatives, the testing of the Core Banking Project and progressively covering testing requirements for BAU and other projects across ITD.

To meet the challenge, you should have the following qualifications and attributes:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in analysis & design, solution recommendation, project development, testing and implementation with at least 5 years in banking related environment with major involvement in testing methodologies and management.
  • Possess good understanding on banking related applications in terms of system development life cycle, system operation procedures, quality assurance, related technology trends, and other common technical challenges.
  • Experience in vendor partnership with successful joint delivery of technology solution for business support.
  • Committed deliverer with abilities and desire to make things happen.
  • Positive personality with desire and passion in driving business growth through smart application of technology and adequate design of operational process.
  • Strong communication (Cantonese and English, with Putonghua an advantage), elaboration and presentation skills.
  • Resourceful, creative and proactive in continuous improvement and advancement.
  • Good team player striving for team success and win-win results.
  • Keen to learn but at the same time willing to share learning with others.
