Project Manager - Regulatory Strategy & Business Change (RSBC) APAC #119962
Location: Hong Kong-Hong Kong-Hong Kong
You will play a crucial role in helping the rapidly growing APAC division address regulatory requirements
You will drive change initiatives that cover both APAC regional as well as global regulations
You have the opportunity to collaborate closely with multiple business lines (Markets, Private Banking, Financing), supporting departments like Platform, Technology, Operations, Legal & Compliance as well as global program teams
You will work with APAC / Global Impact Assessment teams to understand the evolution of future regulations and to help assess the impact on APAC division
You have to drive working groups & Steering Committees to achieve project objectives. This is an opportunity to present to and influence senior stakeholders, facilitate decision making and create transparency on progress, risks and issues
You will lead the Regulatory Strategy & Business Change team in Hong Kong and face off to senior stakeholders on behalf of the function
You will participate in the business management activities of the Regulatory Strategy & Business Change function in APAC
You have 7 - 9 years of project management experience with a Financial Services firm or leading consulting firm with a focus on financial services
A good understanding of the latest regulatory requirements is a requirement.
Prior experience within a Front Office, COO or Compliance role is advantageous.
You possess strong analytic skills in combination with a great eye for detail
You have strong presentation skills, with the ability to draft a compelling storyline in PowerPoint.
Very strong communications skills and ability to motivate the team and handle difficult conversations with the key senior business partners.
You are a dedicated problem solver with a can-do attitude who loves to take initiative to constantly optimize processes and finding joy in building something new
