Credit Risk – Regulation/Governance/Controls #103481
Location: Hong Kong-Hong Kong-Hong Kong
You will work in a small team supporting Hong Kong Branch/Credit Risk Management from a regulatory, governance, audit and risk perspective.
You will assist with regulatory examinations, preparing information and meeting with regulators when necessary, as well as answering queries and helping plan and follow through on remediation actions.
You will keep abreast of local regulatory developments and ensure CRM is stays in sync with the requirements and expectations of the local regulator.
You will help respond to and manage internal partners such as Internal Audit and Risk Review.
You will liaise with groups such as Analytics, RFDAR and Portfolio Management to ensure timely and complete credit risk management information is provided to local management.
You will identify and lead changes in processes, policy and practice necessary for the dedicated and efficient management of credit risk in Hong Kong.
Education: You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in finance, banking or similar, relevant professional accreditation desirable.
You possess 7-12 years prior work experience in financial services, with a focus on Regulatory matters, Controls or Governance, or Private Bank Credit Risk.
Personal characteristic: You should have proficient analytical skills, strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and writing skills, conceptual thinking and a team-player. The role will suit somebody with a dedicated attitude and intellectually curious mindset.
