Postdoctoral Fellow/Senior Research Assistant in the Department of Biomedical Sciences

Location: Kowloon Tong

Project : The Role of IL-33 in the Modulation of Macrophage Differentiation and Immunoregulatory Functions in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

Duties : Carry out research activities for the Project.

The appointment will be for 3 months with possibility of extension.

Requirements : A Master’s degree or above in Immunology/Biology or related disciplines with at least 1 year’s relevant experience including supervision of postgraduate students.  Skills and experience in animal experiments, flow cytometry and cell culture are required.  Strong background and experience in molecular biology are preferred.

Candidates with a PhD and no more than 3 years’ postdoctoral experience may be considered for appointment as Postdoctoral Fellow.

Salary and Conditions of Service
Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
