Account Director

Location: Eastern District

The Challenge We Pose to You:

  • Aggressively pursues new business and market opportunities to achieve sales targets through the sales of the full suite of company’s data and managed services to both current partners and new prospects
  • Penetrate account through pro-active engagement at corporate levels via executive briefing, understanding of customer’s business needs, technical issues and organization structure
  • Accurate pipeline management, revenue and margin generation; consistent delivery of company’s value proposition in sales presentations
  • Interact with pre and post sales departments to resolve customer problems, the implementation and design of complex telecommunications systems and promotional activities to attain customer’s satisfaction
  • Network and build sustainable long term relationship with customers and prospects to deliver against the pipeline and deployment of new services
  • Using tools/systems to ensure accurate qualification and forecasting of the account pipeline via building sales and account specific development plans to meet the revenue goals; prioritize pre-sales resources against revenue goals
  • Responsible for timely and accurate account planning, forecasting & activity reporting

What You Bring to Us: 

  • University graduate
  • Minimum 8 years relevant sales experience in telecommunications industry, preferably in international wholesale market (Less experience candidate may consider as Senior Manager)
  • Proven track record selling into global carriers and developing long-term partnership
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed revenue targets and to generate new and existing business with customers; Understands product sales with services and is able to show evidence of building accounts for repeat sales
  • Strong business networking with international telecom operators is an asset
  • Excellent team player, with strong business acumen and analytical ability
  • Good selling, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Putonghua
