Job Description

Transaction Capture Analyst

Location: APAC-HKG-Hong Kong-Hong Kong

APAC Equity Derivative Middle Office is mainly responsible for providing daily support to Multi Asset Group/Equity Derivative/Corporate Deriv business teams. This includes performing trade capture, lifecycle management, controls and reporting.  This role has a frequent interaction with trading and sales team, and have to deal with external client and brokers on daily basis globally.

  • Reduce risk to the firm through reconciliation and break resolution
  • Product coverage includes Asia and International Equity Markets
  • Work with compliance and trading desk to process and document trading errors
  • Work with trading desk to improve controls front to back
  • Collaborate with technology groups and trading desk to integrate new trading flows and system changes
  • Investigate methods to reduce breaks and risk. Work with business analyst team to create requirement documents
  • Liaise with IT group and Global Business Analyst Team on system enhancements, requirements, and UAT
  • Provide MAG/Derivative trade support for Asia Pacific
  • Ensure compliance with regulations/laws/policies that govern our business


Previous Experience in Client facing or Trade/Desk Support role:

  • Preferred - Previous experience of supporting a demanding trading desk – ideally Equity Derivatives and Exotic Projects
  • Proven record of delivering results and working to strict deadlines
  • Familiarity with impacts on risk and P/L


  • Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge is essential
  • Strong Communicator (articulate and literate)
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
