Senior Business Analyst - Prime Risk and Margin

Location: APAC-HKG-Hong Kong-Hong Kong

  • This position represents a senior business analyst and project manager focusing on analysis and coordination of projects for APAC business
  • It requires the selected candidate to work closely with business and technology groups to ensure that the high quality of deliverables is maintained
  • More specifically, the team in Hong Kong is involved in the full project lifecycle, from analysis, documenting requirements and design, testing, and implementation
  • The team works with project stakeholders including; Prime and Agency Security Lending Traders, Funding Desk, Middle Office, and Operations users
  • The individual will work very closely with their development colleagues on back-end and UI development as well as the QA team
  • The ideal candidate will have an understanding of all aspects of the project lifecycle, but whose main focus will be on Business Analysis/Requirements Gathering
  • The role is that of an individual contributor who can guide other members of the team as well - specifically a development team who will be building out the strategic platform that will support the Agency Lending Business at Citi


Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong business analysis skills (requirements, design, development, testing and deployment)
  • Strong background in running multiple complex projects
  • Exposure to Equity Financing and Agency Security Lending a distinct advantage
  • Strong knowledge of Asian markets
  • Collaborative team player with ability to work independently
  • Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work cohesively in a complex project environment with stakeholders both regionally/globally
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks and actions to hit deadlines according to business priorities
  • Strong inter-personal skills - Enthusiastic and proactive approach
  • Good attention to detail and relevant product knowledge
  • Display insight, discretion and good judgment in making decisions and escalating appropriately
  • Demonstrate the capability for making timely decisions and recommendations
