Job Description

SC Sourcing Analyst

Location: APAC-HKG-Hong Kong-Hong Kong

The Sourcing Manager will be a member of a high performing Enterprise Supply Chain team that identifies strategic sourcing opportunities and leads supply chain optimization initiatives with a focus on the following categories: General Services, Corporate Real Estate, Technology, Banking Operations and Security.

The ideal candidate will have good sourcing, contracting and supplier management experience, preferably within a leading Financial Services firm.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Communicate effectively with internal business users to identify sourcing strategy and to ensure joint ownership in optimizing the supply chain and total cost of ownership
  • Lead and manage major projects together with business owners from support to design and implement/execute supplier engagement plan
  • Assist the regional category and cluster leads with the development of the regional and cluster sourcing strategies and work in define scope of work at country level with alignment to country regulatory/compliance requirements
  • Lead the sourcing initiatives and conduct requests for proposal, eAuctions, supplier negotiations, financial analysis, contract negotiations and project management
  • Work with business users to manage the analysis, negotiation and draft of country contracts (Work Orders, SOWs, etc.) where required and oversee the process in accordance with country contract signing requirements
  • Develops and maintains key business partnerships with business, legal, finance, risk and compliance to ensure all projects are executed in accordance with Citi policies and project execution is achieved in an efficient and timely manner
  • Conduct vendor due diligence and establish KPIs to minimize third party risk



  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree from an accredited College or University 3-5 years of relevant Procurement and/or Business experience in General Services, Logistics, and Supplies
  • Sourcing experience in financial service sector in Hong Kong (preferable)
  • Proven experience with strong track records in leading large, cross-functional strategic initiatives
  • Good interpersonal, communication, presentation, negotiation skills with strong influencing and persuasive talents
  • Experienced in managing senior stakeholders expectations
  • Familiar with the use of eSourcing
  • Strong analytics skills in performing bid evaluations and category spend analysis
  • Significant experience in drafting and negotiating contracts
  • Self-motivated, takes initiative and has the ability to effectively organize, multitask and prioritize a wide array of initiatives
  • Has an aptitude for innovation
  • High integrity and ethics
  • Working with minimal supervision
