Presentation Technology Supervisor

Presentation Technology is a specialist group that provides presentation and graphics/design support to internal clients within ICG (i.e. Investment Bank, Markets, etc.) and various other clients within Citi. It’s regional team in HK works on Chinese language and bespoke presentations and design work.

This role is business critical and is part of a team spread across various shifts including weekends and consistently operates above 100% utilization level.  This role has partial production responsibility of time sensitive Chinese and bespoke Design client billable work.

Key Responsibilities


·          Develop client relationships

     Proactively solicit client feedback and ensure timely follow up to provide a quick resolution of all issues
     Use best of Citi practices and market best practices / trends to create value for clients
     Proactively market the group’s services

·       Staff development

     Lead a team spread across 18x7 Center and providing oversight and technical guidance to Operators based in satellite offices in Singapore and Sydney

     Set goals and inspire enthusiasm to ensure the team is focused on ethics, execution and results

     Leading by providing technical guidance and structure with regards to work processes and work products;  developing & coaching staff to be engaged and active professionals; and provide constructive feedback in a timely fashion to improve performance

     Provide for building feedback mechanism and quality metrics for managing people performance

     Create an environment where staff hold themselves to the highest ethical and performance standards – help translate product strategy into effective business priorities and team goals

·       Operations / Production

     Partial production responsibility – maintaining a benchmark client billable utilization level for self on a monthly basis.  Responsibility will include but not only creating bespoke advance designs and design PPT pitch presentations, proofreading or Intake coordination

     Manage special projects and demonstrate leadership with multiple participants across locations

     Ensure proper utilization of staff resources; coordinating staff scheduling and managing time sheets / attendance

     Provide for building feedback mechanism and quality metrics for managing people performance

     Help staff grow and professionally mature; Initiate targeted professional development for staff; be proactive to provide guidance and encouragement for learning and development

     Managing time sheets and attendance

·       Reporting / Management
     Collaborate and work with global Presentation & Design team Managers/Supervisors to facilitate workflow and process improvements, best practice sharing and driving initiatives
     Responsible for weekly and monthly management reporting

     Provide strong control and governance 



  • At least 9 years of experience in Presentation/Design and Graphics supporting in Investment Banking or Financial firms
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in team leadership/supervision across shifts and/or locations
  • At least 2 years of experience as a senior designer or an equivalent position
  • Hands on with latest MS Office and Graphics Design (CS 6/Creative Cloud) packages
  • Advanced knowledge of industry standard graphic design applications – essential


  •  Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Graphic Design with 3 years or above of relevant work experience in a corporate, service-oriented environment OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable work experience

  • Must be able to provide a portfolio / samples of recent work 


  • Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin (a definite advantage). 
  • English and Chinese typing speed of at least 40 wpm
  • Excellent customer service skills and administrative skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Professional) – essential
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
  • Knowledge of external print processes


  • Able to work quickly and prioritise appropriately and act decisively

  • Tactical leader; consistently operating at high standards of quality within required timeframes across multiple tasks

  • Excellent relationship skills; having a global mind-set with proven ability to partner and work collaboratively
