Middle Office Manager

Location: APAC-HKG-Hong Kong-Hong Kong

The successful candidate will assist Head of Middle Office to proactively provide excellent support services to internal and external clients and improve the efficiency of the various aspect of the credit process. He/ She will also assist in managing and developing junior staff members in the team.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Head of Middle Office to manage the following:

  • Handle SME Financing Guarantee Scheme "SFGS" related work and reporting
  • Assist in credit Approval Conditions and Covenants related management reporting and monitoring works
  • Assist in Covenants related management reporting works
  • Assist in supporting global systems implementation/ enhancement projects
  • Liaise with external or local foreign lawyers for obtaining legal opinion and coordinate with internal parties (Business teams, Documentation Team and Legal Department) to speed up the document review process

Job Skills:

  • Good knowledge to end-to-end credit process and various functions for commercial banking in Hong Kong
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in credit risk management  in local market
  • Capable to handle multi tasks with tight timeline
  • Strong people interpersonal skill
  • Good communication and writing skill. Fluent spoken and written English is essential.
