Job Description

Investor Services - Senior Index Trader

Location: APAC-HKG-Hong Kong-Hong Kong


  • Develop automated trading strategies that can manage risk and help retain revenues in highly competitive markets
  • Manage compliance and regulatory issues impacting the D1 business across Asia
  • Experience and skill generating extra value out of Delta 1 inventory from:
  • Corporate actions
  • Optimizing funding, finding better sources of funding, etc.
  • Asia index product and technical expertise (both EM and DM indices)


  • 5 – 7 years’ experience
  • Proven track record of partnering with sales and other teams to increase the client index business
  • Excellent technical skills, product knowledge, and trading experience for all other relevant D1 products and trading strategies including  repo, dividend swaps, cross currency basis, restricted currencies (NDFs), forwards, interest rates
  • Strong risk management skills
  • Language skills (particularly Mandarin) are a big plus
