Job Description

HK GCB Senior Vice President Cards Business Planning

Location: APAC-HKG-Hong Kong-Hong Kong

Leads a team to drive positive NPS for Cards, optimize expenses and ensuring an effective control framework for Cards and Unsecured Lending.

NPS:

  • Take ownership of NPS results and the actions required to impact the NPS results positively
  • Analyze issues affecting the customer experience to identify the root cause
  • Ensure key initiatives and process re-engineering efforts that will impact the business are aligned to provide customers a remarkable digital experience

Expenses Management:

  • Prepare the plan and forecast expenses.  Analyze expense variances to identify opportunities
  • Work with product team leads and key stakeholders to identify opportunities to optimize expenses
  • Review and perform proofing of high risk balance sheet items and follow up on aging items in eRecon
  • Work closely with Card Associations on billings and reconciliations

Control:      

  • Act as department BURO
  • Coordinate periodic self control assessment, internal and external audit review or exam
  • Work closely with other key stakeholders to ensure proper implementation and compliance of external and internal policies, standards and procedures

Qualifications

  • University degree holder or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years working experience in retail banking or financial services industry with knowledge of Cards and Unsecured Lending products is required
  • Strong leadership, attentive to details, strong control mind-set, work independently, handle and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Organized and possess excellent quantitative, analytical and communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with key stakeholders
