HK - GCB - Business Development Manager, Merchant Business

Location: APAC-HKG-Hong Kong-Hong Kong

  • Perform thorough merchant portfolio analysis
  • Provide insights and findings to sales workforce
  • Identify risks and opportunities of sales performances to Management
  • Review & monitor pricing strategy
  • Work closely with various sales channels to plan and implement the launching of new business initiatives
  • Drive sales stimulation projects
  • Represent the company to deal with external service providers/vendors/ Associations and/or other industry players as to strategic initiatives and programs
  • Keep close communication with stakeholders to monitor the changes of acquiring market environment and identify reactive measures to response the changes identified


  • University graduate with at least 5 years relevant experience
  • Outgoing character, resourceful with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Good knowledge of credit card operations, related systems and tools
  • Excellent project management skills with good understanding of the merchant business
  • Ability to evaluate issues effectively and recommend solutions as part of continuous competitive edge enhancement
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Mature, good team player, ability to work independently and able to work under pressure
