Job Description

HK - GCB - Assistant Vice President, Mortgage Business

Location: APAC-HKG-Hong Kong-Hong Kong

  • Create mortgage retention strategy roadmap, envisioning the future for mortgage business
  • Develop and lead the management of portfolio segmentation strategies, via channel modeling optimization, to become the best practice in the region
  • Manage portfolio and optimize portfolio spread to deliver financial commitment
  • Conduct evaluation to measure the success of gating activities
  • Liaise with the sales teams and key business partners to ensure a smooth operation flow and maximize gating cases
  • Coordinate with sales channels and other products to optimize x-sell opportunities
  • Work closely with sales channel to ensure sales force quality via regular training

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 10 years of working experience in banking, preferably from product management
  • Results orientated with emphasis on the customer and quality
  • Able to apply excellent commercial judgment and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Able to create a positive working relationship with senior executives internally and externally
  • Significant level of risk, sales quality and compliance awareness
  • Possess the technical and operational expertise and experience to deliver the full and complete customer and business partner quality experience individually and collectively
  • Be a self-motivated, pro-active, self-starter with the ability to act and perform with minimal direction or instruction
  • Customer driven with demonstrated commitment to improving customer experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with high written and oral proficiency in English and Cantonese
