Global Mobility Coordinator - Manager/Assistant Vice President

Location: APAC-HKG-Hong Kong-Hong Kong

  • Liaise and manage vendors (real estate, mobility administration, visa/immigration)
  • Manage COE (Center of Excellence) in Manila
  • Manage invoice payments and account related matters
  • Coordinate with Global Mobility Unit in New York in posting expatriate expenses
  • Manage users and waiting lists of club and school debentures
  • Work with real estate vendors in managing leases signing, renewal and storage
  • Provide end-to-end mobility administration support to expatriates and eligible employees/transferees
  • Work with and provide guidance to mobility coordinators within and outside of the region
  • Principal Responsibilities:
  • Deliver quality services to Hong Kong (regional as necessary) based expatriates/mobile assignees
  • Counsel on mobility policies, conduct incoming and exit briefings with expatriates
  • Liaise, review and audit billings from vendors
  • Liaise with Finance, Reconcilement Team, and Accounts Payables on accounting/payment/account proofing matters
  • Work with internal tax team in posting expatriate taxes
  • Work with Global Mobility Unit in New York on monthly expense postings and audit
  • Manage user and waiting lists of club and school debentures
  • Work with clubs and schools in allocation/re-nomination of debentures
  • Work with internal tax team/COE in debenture amortization
  • Be the point person in liaising with clubs and schools
  • Work with real estate service providers on rental and utilities expenses reporting, tenancy schedule maintenance
  • Review periodic housing allowance adjustments
  • Liaise with real estate service providers and external lawyers on lease/tenancy agreement signing
  • Answer inquiries pertaining to mobility administration
  • Monitor performance of vendors/service providers
  • Participate in projects as necessary
  • Monitor monthly regional mobility calls

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree preferably in accounting or tax
  • Preferably at least 3 years’ experience in mobility, housing, accounting, and tax
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to details
  • Global mind-set and experience in working in multi-national companies
  • Ready for changes and challenges
