Job Description

Client Service Operations Officer

Location: APAC-HKG-Hong Kong-Hong Kong

  • Responsible for pre-matching/trade settlements in Global markets, including APAC, Euroclear, DTC and major European markets
  • Liaise with agent banks, brokers, CGM sales and trading desks, customer’s back offices and other CGM offices to follow up any potential fails prior to settlement date
  • Relay unmatched items to oversea offices and trading desks for resolution so as to avoid any failure or buy-in for Asia Pacific markets domestic transactions
  • Based on Settlement system to perform pre-matching for Equities or Bonds transaction in various Asia Pacific markets  traded by various CGM entities
  • Perform stock/cash/GL reconciliation
  • Issue adhoc/manual instructions for exceptional items to our agent banks for Asia Pacific markets and any Euro/Latin America products
  • Perform system testing and other adhoc duties

Qualifications

  • University graduate or above
  • Minimum 3 years experience in operations/settlements in Global markets
  • Effective communication skills and good written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong work initiative and self-motivated
  • Willing to learn and able to work under high pressure
  • Good product knowledge in Global equity markets and fixed income will be a plus
