Trade Factoring Operation Manager / Assistant Manager

    Responsibilities:
  • Perform invoice processing procedure and AML/CFT screen checking are performed in accordance with bank standard; Monitor irregularities in invoices to minimize risks
  • Perform payment processing are properly performed and the prepayments are made within limit approved; report excess to Credit staff for approval
  • Perform cash processing and report large reduction and credit note amount to ensure that prepayment percentage are correctly set
  • Perform operational review and survey to ensure that the receivables are factorable
  • Perform credit control in order to avoid fraudulent transaction; Liaise with insurer closely to obtain adequate debtor limit to support client proposals
  • Declare factored turnover to insurer and arrange payments of premium to ensure credit risk are well covered
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of the trade finance system
  • Observe the established internal and statutory requirements formulating control systems and procedures and monitoring the effectiveness of such system
  • Ensure the proper performance of the team, propose enhancement to manuals and other procedure work with internal and external partners in order to protect bank’s interest and position
  • Introduce the operation procedure and provide operation solution to clients, if needed
    Requirements:
  • University graduate in Finance, Accounting or related business disciplines
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in Trade Services, particularly in Factoring operation
  • Strong knowledge on AML/CFT and fraud prevention controls, detection of red flags and relevant regulatory guidance; Knowledge on ICC rules preferable
  • Experience in system migration and product development is preferable
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as efficient PC skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; fluent in Putonghua is an advantage
  • Good team player, strong self-initiation and details-minded
