Job Description

Internal Audit Assistant Manager (Personal Banking, Operations and Other Functions)

    Responsibilities:
  • Plan and/or conduct audit assignments of Personal Banking, Operations and Other Functions (such as Human Resources, Company Secretarial, Insurance Business, Securities, Commodities & Futures Business)
  • Identify and recommend areas of improvements in internal control and operational efficiency
  • Track and follow up to ascertain audit/regulatory issues are timely and satisfactorily rectified
  • Manage the relationship with external stakeholders (e.g. regulators and external auditors) as well as internal stakeholders (e.g. business and support unit management)
  • Participate in ad-hoc tasks assigned by Audit Management
    Requirements:
  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years’ audit experience in financial industry with 2 years in auditing Personal Banking, Operations or Other Functions
  • Holder of CPA, CIA or other relevant professional qualifications
  • Good understanding of the relevant regulatory requirements
  • Good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good report writing skills in Chinese and English
  • Conversant with MS Office applications and Chinese Word Processing
  • Occasional travel to China may be required
