Job Description

Assistant Purchasing Officer



Responsibilities

  • Provide overall support to the Purchasing Department
  • Assist in handling the procurement of construction materials including but not limited to market analysis, material sourcing, suppliers selection and quotation comparison, etc.
  • Liaise with internal departments & project teams on work process and contracts requirements
  • Assist in tendering for bulk purchases and contracts negotiation
  • Follow up purchase orders and liaise with suppliers on delivery schedules
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Diploma holder or above in Construction/ Purchasing and Supply Chain Management or relevant disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years' post graduate working experience, knowledge in construction materials is a must
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Proactive, good communication and interpersonal skill
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
  • Good communication in both English and Cantonese
