Job Description

Strategic Business Development Program Manager

Location: HONG KONG

Special Projects (50%)
  • Provide research and analysis to support business case development for new projects, enabling the Health & EB business to meet its strategic goals
  • Coordinate planning and monitoring of project scope, deliverables and budget for key strategic and product-related projects
  • Support  overall project governance and delivery processes as a strategic business partner for Health & EB
  • Liaise with a team of project managers to review quality / delivery standards across a portfolio of assigned projects

Project Office & Governance standards (20%)

  • Manage project methodology, templates, and governance standards to be applied  throughout the project lifecycle
  • Responsible for maintaining and supporting portfolio management tools, and processes for benefits tracking and reporting

Strategic Development (20%)

  • Support research and analysis for developing strategic imperatives for achieving growth aspirations for Health & EB business
  • Gather and analyze market data and benchmarking information to identify drivers of profitability and business value
  • Support assessment of operating model, resources and capabilities to ensure alignment to growth aspirations

  • University degree of any discipline
  • Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in strategy development and managing strategic and operational change projects, preferably within the insurance industry
  • Project Management Professional qualification (PMP) preferred
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  • Good mastery of MS PowerPoint, MS Word and MS Excel
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent language proficiency including spoken and written English and Chinese
