Senior Corporate Communication Officer, Marketing

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Support the planning and execution of branding strategy to sustain and build high brand awareness and consideration of AXA among our target segments, with more focus on public relations arena.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Support the development of PR strategy and drive the execution of PR plan throughout the year, in order to maximise company exposure and strengthen AXA brand with our target segments 
  • Manage the partnership with PR agency, by acting as our focal contact point to complete and monitor all planned initiatives on time with high quality of output
  • Develop news angles that align with the identified corporate messages and business strategy for internal/ external publications
  • Pitch and prepare interviews with company spokespersons that aligning with our corporate messages
  • Prepare by-lined articles/ advertorials with company spokespersons that aligning with our corporate messages
  • Organise press conferences/ briefings for launching key survey findings and new products
  • Handle and manage media enquires and complaints by working with various departments until each case is closed, so as to generate positive exposure and protect AXA’s brand being jeopardised by negative messages
  • Build and maintain excellent relationship with media via organising luncheon or gatherings
  • Work with the PR agency to provide ongoing tracking study of AXA exposure and key competitors and prepare regular reports for monitoring
  • Update corporate profile as appropriate on latest published statistics/ performance of the Group
  • Liaise with Group/ Regional Office during corporate results announcement to cascade appropriate information to staff/ distributors and to prepare FAQ
  • Track company’s media exposures and market news, and share among management and line managers and distribution channels
  • Perform and track the social media monitoring mechanism

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree holder with 4+ years of relevant PR and marketing experience
  • Good understanding of insurance industry
  • Good understanding of investment product and services preferred
  • Experience in in-house PR and media relations roles preferred
