Job Description

Manager, Cost Controlling

Location: HONG KONG

As a member of the Cost Controlling Team, you will work and collaborate with other team members and responsible for monthly end closing by consolidating all financials for reporting and analysis, prepare cost allocations and support quarterly forecast and annual budgeting, however with strong focus on IT expenses.

  • Consolidate and prepare monthly management reporting and related expenses report at IT function level and track against budget
  • Support quarterly forecast and annual budgeting of expense by line of business and divisions, with strong focus on IT budget
  • Validate and review annual price information on IT item and provide transparency on items in dispute for management action
  • Act as a reviewer and work with Account Payable team on IT cost payment
  • Answer ad hoc queries
  • Master data maintenance for new system


  • University graduate in Accounting, Finance or related fields
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in expenses management and controlling in Financial Institution.
  • Hands on experience of IT Finance and IT expense analysis is an added advantage
  • Advance in Excel and confident in handling and analysing data
  • Self-starter with good interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Able to multi-task and meet tight reporting deadlines
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferred but not a must
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Cantonese
