Assistant IT Solution Delivery Manager

Location: HONG KONG

  1. Ensure successful project delivery within predefined KPIs by applying established AXA’s project, resources and governance standards.
  2. Manage full project lifecycle using Project Management know-hows and appropriate people skills.
  3. Manage client’s expectations and influence key stakeholders and senior management on key project issues and decisions to ensure the final project performance meet or exceed agreed standards.
  4. Coach and train IT Solution Delivery Specialist / Solution Analyst and project team members to improve project knowledge and skills within the IT Department.
Ensure / also act as IT Business Analyst to shape user requirements based on systems behaviours and supplement BRS with non-functional requirements such that solutions could be designed and implemented to meet user expectations and minimize support and maintenance after the solution goes live

Qualifications

  1. University degree in Computer Science, Business Studies, Project Management or related discipline.
  2. 5+ years’ working experience
  3. 3+ years’ IT project management experience in life insurance or financial industry ranging from large scale, full lifecycle deployments to small project initiatives. \
  4. Experience managing 1-2 System Analyst / Business Analyst to gather functional and non-functional requirements
  5. Strong leadership, mentoring, organizational and communication skills.
  6. Proven experience in verbal and written communications.
  7. Knowledge of and experience in using PM tool set preferred.
  8. Knowledge of insurance preferred
