Information Management Senior Specialist

Location: Kowloon Bay

Job Description:

  • Experience in the IT industry minimum of 10-12 years with extensive network engineering expertise with effective verbal and written communication skills and capabilities to interact with network engineering teams and up to senior level management.
  • Advanced level Cisco ASA and load balancer experience for architectural design and optimization solutions leveraging virtualization within a core backbone infrastructure with multi-context capabilities.
  • High end advanced Cisco routing and switching to include expert level experience in carrier grade L2/L3 MPLS VPNs, Multicast over MPLS, VPLS, OTV, SONET, and DWDM technologies as well as other TDM WAN and Ethernet solutions on various router/switch platforms in diverse and high resilient MAN/WAN environments with challenging SLAs.
  • Complete understanding of LAN Switching, Vlans, VTP, STP and Switch Stacks.
  • Complete understanding of WAN loadsharing/balancing in changing and dynamic environments.
  • Service Provider level understanding of Class of Service and Quality of Service for various traffic and protocol types. The Engineer must have Hand-on F5 experience and F5 Certification is an added advantage. The specific technologies of interest are: F5 Load Balancer, carrier grade L2/L3 MPLS, Multicast over MPLS, VPLS, multi-VRF (including import/export), OTV, SONET, DWDM, TDM, Ethernet, Traffic Engineering, BGP, DMVPN, EIGRP, OSPF, QoS, load balancing/sharing, fault tolerance, and Disaster Recovery in geographically dispersed network hosting environments. 

Job Requirement:

  • Minimum of 10 years to 12 years’ network experience with forward thinking technology focus.
  • Must Have Hands-on Experience in F5. F5 Certification is an added advantage.

  • Advanced level IP Architecture experience along with an in-depth understanding of all layers of the OSI model in addition to in-depth understanding and breakdown of various IGP and BGP routing protocol capabilities in very large and complex service provider oriented environments.
  • Very detail oriented with analytical thinking for risk mitigation and problem isolation with methodical troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Expert level experience with network management and protocol analysis tools with a complete understanding of packet inspection and communication flow
