Business Development Coordinator – International UK Law Firm

Location: Hong Kong

  • Attractive salary package(HKD 18,000 to 35,000 per month)
  • MUST have experience in law firms or other professional services
  • International work environment 

Our client is an UK international law firm.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Pitch preparation – supporting, preparing and developing pitches and requests for proposals, capability statements, and other credential material in both English and Chinese
  • Practice development – working in collaboration with the BD team to support, develop and promote the respective practices (i.e. identifying cross-selling opportunities, thought leadership, brand building and profile raising efforts)
  • Client development – assisting with respect to a number of Asia-wide initiatives involving key clients, industries and regions
  • Research & analysis – preparing reports for existing and prospective clients, industry, sectors, competitor activity and market trends to support our Firm’s client development initiatives
  • Marketing collaterals – updating and preparing business development and marketing materials for key practice groups, various industries and geographies
  • Precedent materials – assisting in regular review and update of the experience lists, attorney CVs, standard capability statements, brochures, etc.
  • Directories – contribute in the compiling of directory and award submissions

Personal qualities/skill requirements:

  • 1 - 3 years’ experience in a marketing role, ideally in a professional services organization
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, familiarity in working with any desktop publishing software is a plus
  • Strong drafting and copywriting skills in English and Chinese
  • Able to work in a team environment and under the pressure of deadlines
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Able to juggle multiple projects, priorities and personalities
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Fluent in English and Chinese
