Location: Hong Kong, HK

Job Summary

Define the to-be integration architecture for AIA as part of the Enterprise Architecture vision and framework. Define, implement and manage the integration architecture governance methodology. This is a key role to help the organization align tactical demands with the strategic objectives, providing many key benefits:

Responsibilities

  • Define and document the overall to-be services oriented integration architecture for AIA in line with industry best practices and organizational strategic priorities
  • Collaborate with and lead as the SME the component design, detailed technical design, development and testing of proof-of-concepts and implementations with the BUs, using integration technologies and tools from the defined integration architecture
  • Lead the analysis evaluation and recommendation of the various technical components of the Integration Architecture in accordance with AIA Enterprise Architecture standards
  • Define, establish and own the necessary governance frameworks and procedures (services catalogues, integration patterns) to ensure a clear ease of access and a consumption by the business units
  • Ensure assigned initiatives across organization are aligned to enterprise architecture standards and principles, leverage common solutions and services
  • Provide leadership to all levels within the AIA organization on the subject of Integration Architecture
  • Collaborate with other Enterprise Architects to ensure alignment of integration architecture with business, data, application and infrastructure architectures in line with the EA Vision
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by reporting manager in order to meet operational and / or other requirements

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in IT or related function mandatory
  • At least 10 years IT experience mandatory
  • Insurance or financial services industry experience mandatory
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience in designing and implementing integration patterns, messaging and integration standards in a service-oriented architecture
  • Hands-on experience in core technologies such as J2EE application servers and containers (including Spring, JBoss, Tomcat etc.), Web Services, ESB, SOAP, WSDL, XML
  • Sound understanding of Project Management methodology
  • Fluent English mandatory, Cantonese and Putonghua preferable
  • Experience of working in different Asia countries preferable
  • Willing to travel
