Job Description

Operation Efficiency Specialist

Location: Hong Kong, HK

Job Summary

Primarily contribute to the team by assisting in ensuing quality reporting and providing insights to management and group office, assisting to lead and monitor the Data Entry team, and also supporting other operation efficiency functions such as organizing formal workshop or events for communication of Services and Operations strategy both internally or externally, providing Services and Operations project portfolio management to management team and centralized monitoring and review on vendor performance.

Job Responsibilities

Business Analytics

  • Assist to provide quality reports and business insights to management team and group office
  • Work with IT to create data models for user self-help data extraction and data alignment to management reporting
  • Promotion of business intelligence tools to business users so that users can have self-help data extraction or analysis and minimize IT data extraction requests

Data Entry Team Management

  • Assist to lead the Data Entry Team to ensure the smooth operation of the function and the achievement of corresponding KPI
  • Assist to prepare reports of the Team Operation and the corresponding performance review
  • Facilitate daily operation issues related to the Data Entry Team and the continuous improvement processes of the operation

Project Management

  • Assist in preparing materials in system enhancement and project management including Requirement Documentations, UAT documentations, User Manuals and Project Status Reports

Job Requirements

  • University graduate in any discipline with 3 years’ experience
  • Experience in Insurance and MPF Services and Operations, Insurance Systems, MPF Systems, CRM systems, EDW Systems and SDLC cycle
  • Strong leadership skill
  • Good communication and presentation skill
  • Language proficiency, with fluency in Mandarin and /or English an added advantage
  • Knowledge of project management, process improvement methodologies will be and added advantage
  • Attentive to details, strong numeric sense and ability to resolve problems
