Associate Director, IFA Distribution, Partnership Distribution

Location: Hong Kong, HK

Job Summary

Support Department Head and Channel Head to formulate business strategy and direction for IFA channel. Manage and develop the partnership to penetrate Par & Non-Par business opportunity; lead and support sales unit to achieve assigned business goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Formulate strategies and initiatives to grow Independent Financial Advisors (IFA) business
  • To develop new and existing broker relationship to further expand business portfolio in particular on Non-Par opportunity
  • Originate and drive business initiatives with internal & external stakeholders
  • Implement appropriate action plans in resources management and to ensure smooth running of daily operation
  • Contribution of business ideas to the continuous development of Brokerage & IFA channel sales platform  
  • Maintain an excellent and trustful business relationship with key decision makers of partners
  • Review assigned broker accounts on a regular basis to ensure service level and compensation are competitive
  • Overall sales management of assigned business portfolio and subordinated units
  • Lead the team to deliver sales result in aligning with company directions
  • Reinforce the key of quality and complaint business to the team, encourage the team to escalate risks or non-compliance matters
  • Provide on-the-job coaching for subordinates and support individual career development  with effective succession planning in place

Job Requirements

  • University / College graduate plus at least 10 years relevant experience and 2 years of managerial experience preferred
  • Good organizing and management skills
  • Good insurance and investment product knowledge
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good written and spoken English and Chinese / Mandarin
  • Working knowledge of MS office applications
