Fast forward your career with AIA Hong Kong & Macau’s Future Leaders Programme (FLP)


FLP is a 24-month development programme designed to equip our next generation leaders with the necessary technical and leadership skills to propel our business to new distances and succeed in the dynamic and competitive insurance industry. 


We offer

  • Foundational on-the-job learning, knowledge of delivery excellence and strategic understanding of the insurance life cycle through immersion in a key business stream. Business streams intaking for the 2019 FLP are:
    • Agency Distribution
    • Partnership Distribution
    • Life Insurance Operations
  • Mentorship from senior leaders and subject matter experts for career advice and industry insights
  • Participation in a leading edge disruptive leadership development curriculum led by globally-renowned executive coaches focusing on core leadership topics
  • Up to 90 days’ international assignment to one of AIA’s other markets in Asia-Pacific



You have

  • 2 - 5 years’ work experience. Prior exposure to the Insurance or Banking industry is advantageous but not essential
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s or MBA degree
  • Exceptional ambition, drive, focus
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • A collaborative mind-set with an eye to customer centricity
  • Resiliency to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure and ambiguity
  • Innovation and willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication in both spoken and written English and Chinese


Our Recruitment Process & Timeline

Apr - May

Take an online assessment test and submit a YouTube Video to share why you are interested in FLP and what qualities you would bring to the role


Participate in a one-day assessment centre and meet with FLP alumni as well as AIA leaders. Finalists will further engage with senior management in individual interviews
