Job Description

Senior Treasury Manager, APAC

Location: Hong Kong

We support our employees globally by coordinating and managing the day-to-day operations of General Accounting, Human Resources, Administration, Marketing and Information Technology. Responsibilities:

A key and leading role to the finance and business teams across APAC in managing various treasury operational activities, including:
 
  • Oversee cash management and fund management activities
  • Coordinate with country finance and business units on funding plan and execute intercompany loan, capital injection or external funding etc by fulfilling local compliance
  • Formulate and execute working capital improvement initiatives
  • Perform continual process improvement on treasury activities, system and procedures
  • Prepare and analyze treasury reports and trends on cash activities, bank loans, interest expense, bank fees
  • Perform relationship management with financial institutions and other stakeholders
  • Coordinate with Corporate Treasury and country finance to monitor and manage foreign currency risk exposure
  • Carry out bank accounts and bank mandate administration, credit line review
  • Develop treasury guideline and policies and provide technical direction to country finance
  • Ensure local compliance and follow Sarbanes Oxley requirement
  • Drive and support any other ad-hoc treasury activities

Requirements

  • Self-motivator and work independently
  • Bachelor Degree in Finance or Economics or related disciplines
  • A minimum of 10 years work experience in either bank or corporate treasury function
  • Possess HKICPA or MBA or CFA or equivalent qualification an advantage
  • Knowledge in financial markets, derivative instruments a plus
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written
