Marketing and Communications Assistant

Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a full-time, Marketing Associate to join its Asia Pacific China Marketing & Communications function.  The position supports marketing and communications initiatives, activities and operations for the Greater China region, is located in Hong Kong, and reports to the Greater China Marketing & Communications team leader. This is a role suitable for recent university graduates, with a passion for the built environment, some prior internship experience, and eager to learn and grow in the marketing and communications sphere.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to proving operational support in the following areas.
  • Events management: venue, vendors and speakers sourcing and liaison, production and on-site support, invitations and registrations
  • Communications materials production: development of drafts, proof-reading,  coordination of design & production
  • Research: desk research on market trends and competition to guide the development of differentiating marketing and communications initiatives
  • Marketing operations: content procurement and maintenance for knowledge management and knowledge sharing databases;  expenses payments, budget monitoring
  • Provide administration support


Minimum Requirements

  • University graduate
 Skills & attributes
  • Fluent in spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua); fluency in reading and writing in at least one, strong proficiency in the other
  • Possess strong computer skills, with demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe
  • Coordination and organization skills, ability to work in a fast paced environment, independently, multi-task and meet deadlines, propose solutions to problems
  • Eye for detail and discrepancies
  • Ability to recognize non-routine tasks and seek guidance on best methods to handle those tasks
  • Ability to engage and work with various levels of management and staff, and in collaborative team settings
  • Working or living in Hong Kong
  • Prior working/internship experience in large multinationals
