Job Description

Engineer Assistants/Assistant Engineers/Engineers - E&M (AAHK)

Location: Hong Kong

We now have opportunities for Engineering Assistants, Assistant Engineers and Engineers, Electrical & Mechanical to join AECOM where you will be seconded out on site to the Hong Kong Airport Authority to assist on the site supervision of interfacing works. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, timely and in compliance with specified requirements.

Responsibilities:

The Engineering Assistants and Assistant Engineer – E&M will:

• Assist in project management for various E&M projects including review of design, method statement, material proposal, programme, etc.
• Assist in coordination with various airport departments, business partners throughout the project implementation

The Engineers – E&M will:

• Take the lead in project management for various E&M projects to ensure the project delivery in time, within budget and in compliance with airport requirements
• Act as technical advisor and solution provider to settle site constraints and technical issues
• Coordinate with various airport departments, business partners throughout the project implementation

Requirements

The Engineering Assistants – E&M shall be:

• A holder of a recognized degree in Electrical/Mechanical
• Possess a minimum of 1 year relevant post graduate working experience

The Assistant Engineer – E&M shall be:

• A holder of a Degree in Electrical/Mechanical
• Possess a minimum of 2 years relevant post graduate working experience.

The Engineer – E&M shall be:

• A holder of a recognized degree in the relevant engineering disciplines and a corporate member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers in relevant disciplines or equivalent
• Possess not less than 6 years of relevant working experience.
• Preferably be experienced in design, contract management and site supervision of refurbishment projects under a live operation environment
 
A competitive salary with a 5-day work week will be offered with the opportunity to jump straight onto a live project at the Hong Kong Airport. This appointment will be made on a renewable contract basis.
