Campus Recruitment Specialist, Greater China (1 year contract)

Job Summary

As part of the Greater China Talent Acquisition team, the Campus Recruitment Specialist will support the graduate and internship recruitment campaigns primarily in Hong Kong and China.  This will involve planning, managing, execution and delivery of these recruitment activities in various locations across Greater China.  Other key mandates include promoting the AECOM brand internally and externally in order to attract young and emerging talent, and helping to improve the candidate experience.
The Graduate Recruitment Specialist will provide end-to-end recruitment support for Graduate and Internship positions. Specific responsibilities are: 
  • Liaise with hiring managers of the various business lines across AECOM to understand position requirements and provide advice on the Graduate and Intern recruitment process
  • Develop and implement the graduate marketing campaign
    • Organize and attend campus roadshows, career fairs and university presentations as required
    • Promote AECOM’s graduate / intern recruitment on the intranet by leveraging on existing employees as ambassadors for the firm
    • Research industry best practices and competitor campaigns
  • Recruitment Operations
    • Assist in application form and job advertising design
    • Short-list candidates by paper and phone screening
    • Coordinate assessment centers and business line interviews
    • Communicate offer and onboarding process to selected candidates as well as dispositioning unsuccessful applicants once the recruitment campaign is completed
  •         Build up good relationships with university career services both locally and overseas


Minimum Requirements

  • 7 years of recruitment experience of which a minimum of 5 years of experience in a high volume graduate recruitment environment.
  • Experience and knowledge of the engineering and architectural consultancy sector would be an advantage
  • Ability to influence others at all levels
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to record and present data accurately and with impact; strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • Possess a mindset of continuous improvement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Mandarin speaking is highly preferred
  • Interested to travel to China to support on local recruitment activities
  • Experience working with geographically-dispersed, virtual teams, as well as having the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
