Associate Director/Associate (System Interface and System Integration)

Job Summary

To cope with the growth of the business in Transportation and Railway Engineering in the Region, we would invite high caliber candidates to apply for the following positions. Candidates will be assigned to specific sub-functions based on their experience, and base in one of our South East Asia Office. 
  • The position arises in one of our South East Asia Office and the candidate will be a key member of the Lead Consultant
  • Responsible for interface management which includes Railway System Interface, Interface with other parties including Transport Oriented Development (TODs) and A&A on existing stations
  • Responsible for overall coordination with Railway Systems designers, contractors and implementation of Railway systems into design and construction specification and documentation
  • Manage the overall process, monitor the design and construction progress
  • Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team
  • Project management and contract administration
  • Manage compilation of technical reports, interfacing matrix, interface specifications, designs, materials and workmanship specifications, testing and commissioning, drawings and documents


Minimum Requirements

  • Degree holder in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 15-20 years relevant work experience in design, planning, project management, and / or construction of metro railway
  • Experience in system integration for underground railway metro system
  • Experience in Signalling and Train Control, including operational requirement
  • Experience in Telecommunication Systems and infrastructure
  • Demonstrate proven track records in implementation and monitoring of interface programme, coordination with M&E and other disciplines.
  • Experience of using BIM as part of integration process is a definite advantage.
  • Able to work independently, lead and coordinate with a team of core system designers and contractors
  • Membership or a recognized professional Institute is an advantage
  • Good command of both written and spoken English
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and project management skills
  • Based in South East Asia and work in a multi-cultural environment
