Job Description

Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor (Civil Infrastructure)

Location: Hong Kong

As a consequence of our success and growth, we are looking for talents for the following post to join the project team and to enable the projects are delivered within budget, schedule and meeting the required quality and standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist Project/Senior QS for pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties including assisting in preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering, tender evaluation, cashflow forecast, contract administration, variation, final account, etc.
  • Supervising and preparing the taking off from drawings and pricing for cost estimates, tender documents, etc.
  • Attend meetings and site inspections when required and/or assisting Project/Senior QS on the same
  • Comply with the Company’s QA requirements and best practice

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree holder in Quantity Surveying discipline or equivalent
  • Relevant quantity surveying experience
    • For Quantity Surveyor, at least 4 years experience
    • For Assistant Quantity Surveyor, at least 1 years experience
  • Practical experience and/or interested in quantity surveying for civil infrastructure works projects is advantageous
  • Willingness to participate in Hong Kong and/or overseas civil infrastructure projects
  • Good learner and interpersonal skills, enthusiastic and ambitious to achieve success
  • Good leadership skills, able to work independently
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Cantonese
  • Final title offered will depend on actual experience and competencies for the position
